Ralph's Blog RSSRalph Moore is a happily married father of two adult children and three grandchildren. Both of his children serve the Lord. His son, Carl, has helped plant three churches and now functions as co-pastor and identified successor in Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. His daughter, Kelly, has a business career, but has helped launch three churches as well. She and her husband, Travis, are currently involved in an ongoing church planting movement and attendant orphanages in India.
Ralph and his wife, Ruby, planted a church in 1971, with a dozen people. That congregation has grown into a movement (of movements), which actively plants churches. They total more than 700 congregations located in every continent Antarctica. This emerges from no financial base other than the local churches.
Ralph currently pastors Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay in Hawaii. He is deeply involved with the wider church locally and globally. He spends ten to twelve weeks a year teaching in leadership conferences in the United States and across the world. His heart is in Japan, the only nation on earth where the church is actually shrinking. We have planted more than 30 churches in that country in the past decade and a half—they are now into the second wave with more Japanese nationals planting churches.
