Who is Ralph Moore?
Occupation: Founding and Senior Pastor of Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay and Director of Mission Hope: International, a not-for-profit ministry dedicated to worldwide disciplemaking and church planting.
Education: B.A. from LIFE Bible College; M.A. from California Graduate School of Theology.
Ralph is the founding pastor of both Hope Chapel in Hermosa Beach, California, and Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
Beginning with just 12 people in 1971, the fruit of this ministry now spans over 700 churches around the world. Many of the churches run several generations deep as each succeeding pastor raises disciples, releasing them to the harvest.
Ralph travels extensively, teaching pastors and church leaders the biblical models for healing the nations, spreading the Gospel and church planting.
In 1971, Ralph and his wife Ruby, along with their 6-month-old son Carl, launched the first Hope Chapel in Hermosa Beach, California. Starting with only 12 people, that congregation has since grown to 3,000 in membership.
Under Ralph’s leadership, “Hope Hermosa” multiplied 29 first and second generation church plants. In 1983, Ralph left California to start their 30th church plant on the island of Oahu in Hawaii—Hope Chapel Kaneohe Bay where Ralph is the founding and senior pastor of the 2500 member congregation.
Ralph and Ruby are proud grandparents of three lively children. Their own adult children, Carl and Kelly, are both engrossed in ministry.
His seminar ministry currently centers around seven areas of leadership development:
• God’s call for mid-life adults.
• Reaching each new generation with the gospel and the church.
• Building local churches into schools of ministry.
• How to plant successful churches either from a denominational office or from the natural sending-base of the local church.
• How to teach tithing and stewardship.
• A roadmap for managing staff (paid and volunteer) in a local church.
• Salaries and benefits (A teaching for elders and board members).
When teaching in churches, Ralph prefers to deal with:
• Love and marriage.
• Connecting: Networking the church toward disciplemaking.
• Being the church on Monday.
• More than enough: Stewarding financial resources toward prosperity.
• From Panic To Power: Learning to stand against anxiety and depression.
Ralph’s ministry doesn’t end with the seminar or sermon. He has published teaching in each of these categories in either book or CD format available online through the Hope Chapel Resource Center. These materials allow for review and give leaders the ability to pass information on to people in their area of service.
